Valentine's Scramble & Hight Tea - Vale de Milho
The 14th of February was an unusual Algarvian day. We didn't see much of the sun and it even rained. To be honest it rained all day, except ... when we played our Valentine's Scramble. Nine holes were played in Valentine Couples and they all did their very best. After two hours of playing and debating over best balls a High Tea was served in the Club House: all sorts of teas in different tea pots accompanied by an assortment of sandwiches, finger fancy cakes and much more on lovely set tables. It looked fantastic and it tasted even better. Winners were: Wim and Jolanda (32 strokes). Runners up were: Henk and Rosemary (33 strokes). |
